Calendars are like a work of art, if you ask me. A good hard copy calendar holds our entire lives in the form of events and plans. The raw handwriting, the scribbled-out words, the rescheduled plans, the birthdays and vacations–they’re all beautiful. My calendar is in my studio and basically ends up looking like a psychopath’s approach to the year, but it’s hanging right above my computer so it stares me in the face every day and helps me navigate my life.
I keep all my calendars. At the end of the year, I add it to the stack of old calendars with the intention of one day looking back through them at how chaotic and beautiful our lives have been.
I’m not saying you have to do the same thing, but I will say that everyone needs a good calendar in their life!

A Few Tips
- Print on white cardstock (65# or heavier) for nice sturdy pages
- If you’re in a bind, regular copy paper will hold up just fine
- Make sure your printer is set to print in portrait orientation
- Staple together to use as a desk calendar, punch holes to hang it up on a wall hanger, or roll it up like a treasure map and take it with you everywhere you go 😉
