Easy Peasy Assembly
If you have a printer, scissors and adhesive, you can pull off a fun safari-themed birthday party or baby shower!
- Download the templates you want to use
- Print as many as you need (for personal use). I recommend printing on white cardstock (at least 65#), but regular copy paper works just fine too.
- Cut them out
- Add glue or other adhesive to one end
- Wrap around your completed cupcakes
I’ve designed them to be longer than is usually necessary in order to accommodate a variety of standard sized cupcakes. Because of this, the ends will likely overlap a bit.
For a fun look, use scalloped scissors to cut around the top edge of the wrappers!

Looking for paper and other supply recommendations? Here’s what I used for my samples:
- 110# white cardstock I use this cardstock for all kinds of printable projects! It’s nice and sturdy, but not so thick it will cause issues with your printer feed.
- Scissors for quick cutting
- Adhesive runner or glue stick
Do you want to talk about printers?
Chances are if you’re here looking for free printables, you probably already have a printer that works well for you. But if not, or if you’re in the market for a new one, I can’t say enough good things about Canon printers. I have two in my studio, actually. For printable projects like this, take a look at the Canon SuperTank all-in-one printer. It feeds cardstock like a champ, prints great, and it’s cartridge-free! That means you can buy bottles of ink (very reasonably, I might add) and fill up whenever you’re low wihtout breaking the bank on expensive cartridges!
