What is a Fingerprint Poster??

Well I’m glad you asked! A fingerprint poster is an alternative to a traditional guestbook for events like birthdays, baby showers, and weddings. They’re great for thank you gifts to. I also have signature posters if you don’t want to have to deal with fingerprints 😉

Guests add their fingerprint and sign their name as a clever way to complete the picture. Then you can frame it and add it to the room decor as a keepsake of the day! Fingerprint trees are probably the most common (guests add their fingerprints as leaves), but the possibilities are endless—fingerprints can represent balloons, spots on a giraffe, flower petals, or fill in a pineapple.

There are lots of artists out there offering fingerprint posters in all kinds of fun designs. When you buy from MeganHStudio, you know it’s always an art print of my hand drawn originals.

What is a Signature Poster??

Well I’m glad you asked! A signature poster is an alternative to a traditional guestbook for events like birthdays, baby showers, and weddings.

Guests add their signature to an element of the picture. Then you can frame it and add it to the room decor as a keepsake of the day! The possibilities are endless—signature can be added to rain drops, leaves, balloons, or sprinkles to match different themes!

It’s Time Lapse Time: Out of this World!

Today’s time lapse is astronomical! One of my return customers (that I am so thankful for!) came with a request for an astronaut with stars for guests to sign at a birthday party. The perfect keepsake! This time lapse walks you through part of the creative process. When you draw digitally, you get to test out different mediums…this one started with watercolor, and quickly went to a scratchy pencil look instead for some more defined shadowing and details on this space suit.

You can find this astronaut as an art print or a guestbook alternative in my shop! Customizable text and colors!

It’s Time Lapse Time: Little Cutie!

Today’s time lapse is a little cutie, for sure! I worked on this as part of a cutie-themed baby shower fingerprint tree a customer requested last month. I used Adobe Fresco’s live watercolor brushes to “paint” the mandarin. Do you have a Little Cutie who needs this in their room??
