Quail are adorable and make the perfect subjects for a drawing project, but it hadn’t even crossed my mind to draw them to incorporate in a fingerprint poster. Enter a friend with a mom who loves quail and a wedding anniversary coming up, and suddenly these quail happily made it onto my to-do list!
Guests at the anniversary party can add their fingerprints and sign their names as balloons—then it can be framed and added to the house decor as a cute keepsake!
Check out the time lapse below! You might notice that I didn’t just draw one, then copy it and flip it. For things like this, I think a it’s best to that each quail has it’s own little nuances, don’t you??
