My daughter has a bunny named Fireball who is the cutest, orange French Lop bunny you’ve ever seen. Naturally for her 9th birthday party she went with a bunny theme and I worked on attempting to draw Fireball to feature on her invitations and fingerprint poster.

It honestly didn’t even cross my mind to put this drawing up in my shop, but last week I got a request from a customer who was planning a bunny themed nursery for her son and luckily I had JUST the thing!

So I figured we might as well try to make Fireball famous! You can find him in the time lapse below along with in my shop 😉

It’s Time Lapse Time: One Cool Cat

I have a lot of favorite customers, but my kids are definitely my top 3 favs — every year we have fun deciding on a theme for their upcoming birthdays and putting together fun invites and fingerprint posters. My son recently turned 7 and he spent months before his party debating what theme to go with. Sonic, Mario…Sonic AND Mario, Metal Sonic…at the last minute he threw us all for a curve and decided to go with a Bobcat theme since that’s his favorite animal.

So we went with a “one cool cat” theme and had fun with bobcats in sunglasses! Here’s the time lapse of the bobcat drawing.

Every once in awhile, my kids pick a theme that results in something with mass appeal that I can also offer to other customers, but mostly…not! One year my oldest daughter decided on a jaguar/pelican/parrot theme…you can bet THAT design isn’t in big demand!

It’s Time Lapse Time: What a HOOT

This week’s time lapse is a total HOOT! It’s a custom order from one of my favorite repeat customers.

The baby’s nursery had teal and coral woodland animals and a tribal motif. Of course the only thing that can make that theme better is your very own fur babies, right?!

It’s Time Lapse Time: Out of this World!

Today’s time lapse is astronomical! One of my return customers (that I am so thankful for!) came with a request for an astronaut with stars for guests to sign at a birthday party. The perfect keepsake! This time lapse walks you through part of the creative process. When you draw digitally, you get to test out different mediums…this one started with watercolor, and quickly went to a scratchy pencil look instead for some more defined shadowing and details on this space suit.

It’s Time Lapse Time: One in a MELON

This week’s time lapse is one in a MELON! Get it? Melon…Watermelon? Haha! I just finished getting this up in my Etsy and Amazon shops so it’s ready for all your summer parties!

Have guests add their fingerprint and sign their name to make the seeds on the watermelons. Then frame it for a keepsake and add it to the room decor!

It’s Time Lapse Time: This Pup’s Whole World is about to Change!

I’ve been drawing lots of pups lately! This week’s time lapse is a sweet Pit Bull mix who loves to chew on deer antlers and she is ready for the gender reveal party to figure out if she’s getting a little brother or sister.

She’s part of a fingerprint guestbook where guests will add either a pink or blue fingerprint to guess the gender of the baby. Then it can be framed and added to the nursery decor as a keepsake!

This customer actually came to me a few years ago for a custom fingerprint poster for her friend, and now it’s her turn! I love that I get to walk along side my customers and see how their families grow!

I’m sure you can tell, I’m definitely not a professional pet portrait artist, but I’ve got a simple style all my own 😉

It’s Time Lapse Time: Sweet as can BEE

Today’s time lapse is one of my first attempts at a digital drawing project (holy cross-hatching, man!) You’ll find this finished beehive available as a fingerprint poster to celebrate all kinds of events: baby showers, weddings, birthdays, and even as a teacher appreciation gift. It’s all the BUZZ 😉

I used the Procreate app on my iPad Pro with my trusty Apple Pencil to create draw this.

It Time Lapse Time: Sweet as a Peach!

I used Adobe Fresco on my iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil to draw this peach. Gotta love those live watercolor brushes!
